While we enjoy working on innovative new products, we also take great pride in ensuring existing aircraft fleets continue flying economically. Our engineers are well rounded, experienced and have innovation at the heart of their core values.

Management team:

Nancy Venneman, President

Mrs. Nancy Venneman founded Altitude Aerospace in 2005. As the president, she has been leading the company by assuming key strategic decisions and managing its growth with a clear commitment to service excellence. She brings over 15 years of aerospace experience and has a keen understanding of the global market and its commercial challenges. Prior to founding Altitude Aerospace, Nancy held key engineering positions in the industry ranging from aircraft structural modifications and certification programs to project planning and in-service customer support for the commercial aircraft division of a leading aerospace OEM.

In 2010, she won the RFAQ (Réseau des Femmes d'Affaires du Québec) Quebec Business woman of the year in the category International Entrepreneur. In the same year, Altitude Aerospace was granted the Excellence award in the Service Category at the Alpha Gala held by the Chamber of Commerce of Ville St-Laurent. And, in 2011 Nancy was nominated for the Ernst & Young Quebec Entrepreneur of the year award.

Nancy holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal.

Fadi Al-Ahmed, Executive Vice-President and Chief Engineer

Mr. Fadi Al-Ahmed joined Altitude Aerospace in 2008 and has been vital in developing Altitude's engineering team and its talent base. He has lead Altitude's engineering team in the accomplishment of numerous successful programs. His enthusiasm and passion for his work coupled with his 20 years of experience in aerospace engineering, has gained him unsurpassed recognition by his peers. Prior to joining Altitude Aerospace, Fadi held engineering management positions at Bombardier Aerospace including leading the CRJ structural in-service engineering team for the commercial aircraft division. He has been a Transport Canada delegate since 2007 in the Airframe-Stress and Systems-Stress disciplines.

Fadi holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Sébastien GODART, International Business Development

Mr. Sébastien Godart joined Altitude Aerospace in 2012 as Stress Engineering Lead and while supporting the Business Development team.

His proximity to the OEMs and their suppliers combined with 10 years of experience in engineering brings him good knowledge and understanding of the industry needs and the international aerospace market. Prior to joining Altitude Aerospace, Sébastien held stress engineering positions on various fuselage doors programs and more specifically on the Boeing 787 and Bombardier C Series passenger doors.

Sébastien holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Université de Technologie de Troyes in France.

Laetitia Chaynes, General Manager Altitude Aerospace France

Ms. Laetitia Chaynes joined Altitude Aerospace in 2013 in Montreal as Account Manager before taking responsibility of Altitude’s first subsidiary overseas in Toulouse (France). Her experience in the aerospace industry brings strong support to the existing management team. Her international career that led her to work and study in several European countries and in North America allows her to understand the challenges of Customer relations, Human Resources management and recruitment in a global and multicultural environment. Prior to joining Altitude Aerospace, Laetitia held several positions in business support functions of leading aerospace companies.

Laetitia holds a Master degree in International Management from the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises of Toulouse, France.
